I’m in love with picking wildflowers whilst on a nature walk. I collect grass ensembles and berries from hedge rows. I pick bull rushes from the canal bank and they’re gorgeous. They have become a real talking point at the dinner table now. If you add in some of your herbs from your garden your tablescaping will look terrific. I think even the most formal of dining tables are enhanced by the smell from the garden.
There’s an abundance of wild vegetation in our hedges we can use that would look great for our tablescaping displays. Rosemary herb is in full flower at this time and so aromatic. You worried you’re taking from the birds and bees but don’t. Rest assure that when the leaves have faded these branches with useful berries can be set in our compost where insects, birds and worms all have their nourishment.
I will display a new wild theme every week for you to get some ideas for your own table.
