From Edenderry to the World: A Love Affair with Linen

I have always believed that the things we touch every day – our bed sheets, our table napkins, the throw on our sofa – should be beautiful. They are the backdrop to our lives.

My passion for textiles isn’t just a career; but a family inheritance. It traces back to the 1920s, where my grandmother ran a small industry producing the finest Carrickmacross Lace for veils and wedding gowns.

Growing up surrounded by these handcrafted treasures taught me a simple truth: true quality is timeless. In 1987, I founded Luxury Linens Ireland to bring that same standard of artistry back into the modern home, adapting some of those original family designs into the linen collections you see today.

Using only the finest threads

My search for perfection has taken me from our studio in Offaly to the furthest corners of the globe. I refuse to compromise on materials.

  • China & Germany: For the finest Mulberry Silk.
  • Milan: For the world’s most exquisite Satin Cotton.
  • Mongolia: Where I have travelled personally to the outer reaches of the plains to source cashmere directly from the herders, ensuring it is 100% pure and ethically manufactured.

Our promise

In a world of mass production, we remain proudly personal. Whether you are buying a simple napkin or commissioning a bespoke heirloom piece, you are investing in quality that I am proud to put my name on.

Thank you for welcoming us into your home.
